A major gun rights endorsement just came out in one of the most hotly contested Republican primaries of 2019.
The National Association for Gun Rights PAC just endorsed Tina Freitas in her race against Emmett Hanger.
And Freitas is celebrating with a video featuring her support of the Second Amendment.
Virginia Senate candidate Tina Freitas, who is challenging Emmett Hanger in the 24th District Republican primary, just announced a major endorsement in her campaign to defeat the 36-year incumbent.
Conservative anger over Hanger’s repeated votes to kill Constitutional Carry in the State Senate, which he has done three years in a row, helped to fuel the primary challenge against him.
And now, Freitas has a new endorsement to boost her pro-Second Amendment campaign message as she seeks to unseat Hanger.
The National Association for Gun Rights PAC just endorsed Freitas this week, and she decided to announce the endorsement with a campaign video featuring her exercising her Second Amendment rights by blowing up targets with an AR.
The campaign video is already making the rounds on social media.
The explosion starts at 1:40 in the video.
“National Association for Gun Rights has officially endorsed my campaign so today I am highlighting the great equalizer we know as the 2nd Amendment,” said Freitas.
“Remember ladies, the 1st Amendment recognizes your right to SAY you’re empowered, the 2nd Amendment protects your right to PROVE IT!”
