This year has been a showcase of Democrats who don’t have the slightest clue about the offices they’re running for.
First, a self-described socialist in New York revealed the fact that even though she’s only running for Congress, she’ thinks being elected will win her an inauguration and the power to sign bills.
Her name is Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and that’s only one of her recent blunders.
Now Ben Jealous has made a major gaffe and tanked his hopes of being elected.
Democrat Ben Jealous forgets where he is; what office he’s running for
Jealous’ recent speech was meant to rally supporters to carry him to victory in the 31 days before Election Day.
Instead, the Maryland Democrat let fly a major Freudian slip that brought on a storm of negative press and further tanked his chances of reelection.
“Just give me your all for the next 31 days and you will be looking at the next Governor of Virginia”.
And while Jealous might be secretly gunning for head of the Old Dominion, he’s only on the ballot in Maryland this year.
This is only the latest in a trail of outbursts that, according to his opponent’s campaign, includes cursing at a Washington Post reporter, mistakenly campaigning for president, and flat out trying to hike taxes.
The thing is, he’s trailing an average of 17 points behind the Republican.
And this latest gaffe further tanks his chance of closing the gap.
But we’re coming to expect these outrageous displays from Democrats in desperate races.
It seems like only yesterday Bigfoot was in all the headlines when Denver Riggleman’s Democrat opponent alleged he was a “Bigfoot erotica devotee”.
You see, these are the weak narratives that the Left is trotting out in a mad rage to demonize conservatives.
And it’s only showing how far they’ve drifted from a basic love of country and liberty that made this country great.
What do you think? Is the Left too radical to win over average Americans?
Are the weak liberal narratives and false attacks enough to spur a Red Wave in November?
